EMEA Shining Stars 2022


In 2022, one of our critical goals is to strive for service excellence towards our most loyal customers: the Marriott Bonvoy members. Further, we aim to increase our membership base through on-property enrolments. As your property’s role in these objectives remains paramount, we recognize the importance that recognition plays in ensuring our associates feel appreciated for their continued contribution.



EMEA Shining Stars 2022 recognition program has been created to inspire and reward you and your teams for your continued commitment to driving Loyalty and Guest Experience in EMEA. The program will offer both quarterly and annual recognition and reward opportunities designed to drive our Guestvoice scores and Enrollment.

For ITR, EA, and Enrolment’s metrics, the Top 10 Improvers and Top 10 performers will be recognized. On the enrolment side, Hotels will get the opportunity to share best practices related to a specific theme to be part of the Quarterly TOP 5 enrolment-themed best practice. In addition, each Quarter we will introduce a new opportunity to be awarded, with an additional GSS metric to recognize the Quarterly Top 10 performing Hotels only based on that specific additional GSS metric.


In the Quarterly recognition portion, you will be able to shine. The focus from April to June will be on Food & Beverage Satisfaction for all Managed and Franchised properties across EMEA. Take the chance now and benefit from QPower, the EMEA Breakfast Program, the recently launched Executive Lounge guidance, or by utilizing the Service Excellence through enhanced focus on 15-Minute Training. Those resources will assist you and your team in leveraging the Guest Experience.
